Perhaps it is because there is simply more hunger and greater desire to acquire or polish leadership skills. Or, perhaps, it is because our world has trended away from time-tested principles that have served all successful leaders for centuries. We strive to create balance in your personal and professional life through creative problem solving initiatives, certified facilitation and physical challenges. Whatever the case may be, as Dr. Ken Jones writes in his book The Ultimate Leader, “…real leadership provides the ability to unify and focus the enormous energy and talent of people toward the realization of a specific dream”. Note the key words in that statement: unify – focus – energy – talent – specific – dream. How does one go about blending all of those into a leadership style? At Spirit Ranch, we believe that the first step is to dive deeper into ourselves and not only cast off those burdens that are weighing us down (damaging words from an abusive father or overbearing mother; perceived failure in some past venture; a mask we wear trying to prove to others we are someone that we are not), but also to stand at our tallest and realize that God created an incredible thing when He made us.
