Whatever the case may be, as Dr. Ken Jones writes in his book The Ultimate Leader, “…real leadership provides the ability to unify and focus the enormous energy and talent of people toward the realization of a specific dream”. Note the key words in that statement: unify – focus – energy – talent – specific – dream. How does one go about blending all of those into a leadership style?

At Spirit Ranch, we believe that the first step is to dive deeper into ourselves and not only cast off those burdens that are weighing us down (damaging words from an abusive father or overbearing mother; perceived failure in some past venture; a mask we wear trying to prove to others we are someone that we are not), but also to stand at our tallest and realize that God created an incredible thing when He made us.

So, how do we do that? By moving you…sometimes pushing you… out of where you are comfortable where you can begin really growing. We will help you take off your mask. We will stretch you beyond your fears. We will make you laugh…and cry. We will help open your eyes and ears and close your mouth. And, all the while we will never embarrass you or belittle you as we understand that we are all at different places in the journey.

Everyone is on a team. The people you live, work, and play with are all your teammates in life. Some teams have a leader, coach, commander or boss who has been appointed to lead the group, while other teams are simply a group of people with a high degree of interdependence who must work things out on their own. In any case, most teams do things the same way over and over again and don’t build more trust, confidence, or sense of purpose over the years. Instead, many teams start to fight, divide and deteriorate until some outside source, event or person puts them back on the right track and builds the team up to a higher level that it was before.

Here at Spirit Ranch we have selected the best team building exercises that have worked successfully over the years and put them into customized programs complete with facilitation, physical elements and instruction.

It is a day of challenge and change.

Teambuilding activities are usually fun, but fun is not the primary focus of these activities. Each activity is designed to help your group come together as a team. Your team will have fun while they learn and grow together by pushing through their personal comfort zone, into their personal growth zone.
